We are not a tech agency. We are a husband and wife team from Central Alberta who got obsessed with a question: what if small businesses could work smarter without working harder? Everything we do comes back to that.

— How it started
A kitchen table.
Two laptops. One big idea.
It started the way most good things do, with a conversation that would not end. Rielly was deep into learning Make.com in his spare time, building automations just to see what was possible. Kirsty was at work, fully in the weeds implementing Salesforce Flows for a large enterprise operation and watching the same problems repeat themselves across every team she touched.
One evening it clicked. The tools existed. The knowledge was there. And there were thousands of small business owners drowning in manual work that did not have to be manual. They just did not have anyone to build it for them.
So Rielly and Kirsty built Medlin Automations, a boutique consultancy with a simple promise: we treat your business like it is our own, because ours depends on it too.

Rielly’s career is a straight line from one discipline to the next, each one building on the last. A skilled tradesperson by training, he developed a deep instinct for how systems connect, where they fail, and how to build them so they last.
That foundation carried him into IT, and from there into automation and AI development, where he now designs and builds the technical solutions at the core of everything Medlin Automations delivers. He approaches every build with the same standard: get it right the first time, and build it to run without you.
Rielly leads every technical engagement at Medlin, from architecture and custom application builds through to deployment and integration. Clients get a seasoned builder, not a generalist with a subscription.

Kirsty
Operations and Strategy Lead
Kirsty began her career at a family-run hotel in Ireland, where she learned early that a smooth operation is felt by everyone, even when they cannot explain why. That instinct for operational excellence has shaped everything since.
She spent over a decade inside one of the largest tourism enterprises in the country, moving through reservations, B2B sales, revenue operations, and senior partner management. She knows what broken processes look like at scale, and she knows how to fix them.
At Medlin Automations, Kirsty leads strategy and client relationships, making sure every solution actually solves the right problem, not just the obvious one.
